Micron loses over $344 million
Micron, a memory producing company, reported a $344 million fourth-quarter loss in Oct. 1st. They are closing one of their flash memory facilities, which will result in a 15% worker loss. Memory prices continued to fall so they weren't really making a profit. Nand flash memory is the core of most USB drives. One popular device that uses this is the Nintendo DS.
